Increasing global awareness of environmental issues is driving organizations to integrate intentional practices into human resource management strategies. One emerging approach is Green Human Resource Management (GHRM), which emphasizes environmental-based human resource management. This study aims to analyze the effect of GHRM on sustainable competitive advantage with employee pro-environmental behavior as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of employees in organizations that have implemented environmentally friendly practices. Data were analyzed using multivariate statistical analysis techniques to test the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results show that GHRM has a positive and significant effect on sustainable competitive advantage. In addition, GHRM has also been shown to increase employee pro-environmental behavior, which in turn contributes significantly to strengthening sustainable competitive advantage. These findings indicate that employee pro-environmental behavior plays a mediator in the relationship between GHRM and sustainable competitive advantage. This study provides theoretical contributions by expanding the study of curiosity-based strategic management and practical contributions for management organizations in designing human resource policies that focus on environmental curiosity.
